Bulkhead & seawall help·Destin
Your waterfront. Your next step.

Your project request.
How it is handled.

This page explains what you send us, why we use it and who may see it.

Who handles your request

Destin Bulkhead is an independent planning and referral website. We are not a contractor, engineer or public agency. When you ask for help, your request may be shared with a partner contractor for the work you describe. We may receive compensation for that introduction.

What the project form asks for

The form asks for your community, your bulkhead or seawall concern, your project stage and a phone number. Your name, email and project details are optional. If you choose, a request can also include a summary from a planning tool, such as a budget estimate.

  • We use your details to respond to your request and to arrange any introduction you ask for.
  • We share a request only with a partner contractor for the work you described, as the consent notice on the form explains.
  • The form does not ask for payment details, insurance policy numbers or passwords. Please do not include them.

If you call a number shown on this site, the same approach applies to what you tell us.

What stays on your device

Planning tools such as the budget planner and the warning-sign check work in your browser. Their answers stay on your device unless you choose to add a summary to a request. “Save a copy” creates a file on your device and does not send anything.

Correcting or deleting your request

You can ask us to correct or delete the details you sent. Use the contact page and say what you want changed. If a partner contractor has already received your request, contact them as well, because they hold their own copy.

Retention and the current form

Accepted requests expire from active access after 180 days, with scheduled maintenance removing expired records.

Optional tool and audience requests

Feature forms can additionally collect an optional email, property address, organization, transaction date, access notes and the project details you choose to enter. A selected warning-sign result or elevation comparison can accompany an explicit request. These are visitor-supplied observations and guidance, not verified inspection findings.

A neighbor invitation shares a random group code and the waterway or community name you enter. Anyone with the link can request to join. Do not put names, phone numbers or private addresses in that public community field. Public invitation checks reveal no member list or contact details. Deleting or expiring the organizer’s request disables its invitation; submitted requests otherwise follow the site’s stated retention policy.

Calculator and questionnaire answers stay on your device unless you explicitly include a summary in a submitted request. Preview forms do not send or save a lead. No advertising analytics or payment service is added by these features.
